Friendly staff - Nice hotel with parking
We stayed few days. Hotel was clean and nice with very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel has safe gated parking in the yard which is not easy to find in this location. Room was relatively small and no facilities like water boiler, hair drier or so but was anyway clean and comfortable with decent wifi connection. The old town of Venice can be easily reached by bus in about 10min, bus stop is short walk away. If using bus, the surrounding especially in the night time is not the most comfortable one but ok anyway! Would recommend this hotel.

Horrible
Was not pleased at all with this hotel. I booked this hotel because it said there was air conditioning, when we get in our room which is extra small (could barely walk around the bed) it was extremely hot and it smelled of humidity. The man at the reception tells me there is a law in Italy saying they cannot turn on the air condition till June 1st. I tell him that that is not true because the other hotels we stayed at had some....To make a long story short I complained saying I want to be reimbursed because it is false advertising saying they have air conditioning when they do not. He did not want to reimburse me, so I complained to Hotels.com for a long time on the phone and they switched us at another hotel WITH air conditioning!!!
Regardless I do not recommend this hotel, the room was small and old and stuffy, I stayed at Autoespresso which is right next door which is far better, clean, AMAZING breakfast. The reason I switched hotel was because we decided to stay an extra day in Venice but that hotel (Autoespresso) was booked for that night so we found Sirena 👎

Great hotel, just don't expect luxury
This hotel is not as bad as the reviews, The rooms are outdated, but its cool, don't come here if you want modern as the whole place is set in the 60s except the front desks Apple computer. The hotel has an ok breakfast but the rooms were clean and comfy and the wifi worked well.
The surrounding neighbourhood is sketchy and at night time is a little bit scary but for the price of the hotel and its proximity to the train station it becomes bearable.
As a cheap hotel to see venice id say its worth it, just don't expect luxury.

Great place to stay! Near a bus stop and Venice!
Great place to stay! Very near the Mestre train/bus station and the island of Venice. Comfortable beds and nice showers. WiFi was fast and reliable. Also, since we booked from Expedia, breakfast was included.
The staff was very nice and helpful and I loved the accents lol. It was a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Don't judge a book by its cover
On the surface this place looks great!, great value for money and easy transport options to the venice city, however from the cigarette butts found under the bed to strange stains under the sheets it far from a restful stay. On the second night upon sitting on the edge of the bed it collapsed due to missing parts to the bed frame, we went and told reception whom just shrugged the shoulders and told me to fix it myself what do i expect him to do about it. so we moved the mattress to the floor and slept on the floor! The air-conditioning only pumped out hellish heat not what you want when made to move your own broken bed! not to mention the employees just sit in front of the hotel smoking and drinking loudly all night below the guests rooms so its all you hear while trying to sleep at 2am! But all this is nothing compared to the fact the bathroom roof was covered in deadly BLACK MOLD! being an asthmatic i was very concerned staying here and don't recommend anyone stay here until it gets a complete strip down and remodel or at least a clean!

Excellent Choice.
This hotel was an excellent choice for us considering we had a car and only one day to visit Venice. Breakfast and service was very good.
The public bus to Venice was convenient and suited us well. Would stay again due to value and overall package.

Room capacities are not clearly/accurately defined. A room for 4 is not a room for 2 with two cots. All rooms are listed as smoking but hotel insists they are not. Be very careful when booking that the rooms actually meet your requirements.

Quick bus ride to Venice.
Driving to the Hotel isn't pleasant as you pass through the port area and some rather seedy streets. Don't let that discourage you. The Hotel is in a very nice little neighbourhood once you pass the tough stuff. We walked around quite a bit at night and there were no worries.
