I picked this hotel for its convenient proximity to the cruise terminal. In that respect, it was perfect—just a two minute walk. While I find the Dutch exceptionally friendly overall, I was not at all impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff which fell short of what I normally encounter. On check-out, I had to fill out a form with my credit card and personal information because their system was down. The first time in my admittedly long life that includes travel to over 90 countries, including many third world countries. The Mövenpick Chocolate Hour was a joke. The first time we came down to the lobby, we were told it was already over. The second time we came down to the lobby at one minute after the start time. No chocolates in sight. My wife checked with the desk clerk who checked with her supervisor. They said it was all gone.That was laughable. Apparently, they think we were born yesterday, despite our gray hair. We didn’t waste our time on the third day. My point is don’t advertise and make a big deal about something that doesn’t exist or where you disappoint your customers.Next time visit, we’ll stay somewhere else. I suspect that because they have a hotel with a prime location, they don’t focus on customer service.,
