Property was nice. It was a little loud due to the nightclub below on a Friday night, yet very convenient to everything and many great dining options!

8/10 Very good

The area around the property really comes alive at night and is so cool and fun! The inside of the apartment was what we expected for a historical type of property. Kind of quirky and small, but suited our needs. I wish there was an a/c unit in the twin beds room, and the shower needs updating. But overall, the area is really the selling point for this location with all the cute shops and restaurants around.

Good clean place to stay. Perfect for public transport and being in the centre near the acropolis. Although a bit noisy as above a bar.

This was an amazing property! The room was big, had two bedrooms, four comfortable beds, a kitchenette, living space, a balcony. We came with our two children (middle and high school) and had more than enough room. The area around the property had so many great restaurants, but the room was quiet. It was so close to the Acropolis and the other archeological sites- we walked everywhere. The staff are very friendly and responsive to messages and questions. Check in was very easy. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to others.

This apartment style stay was a great way to experience Athens in a very cool neighborhood. The streets were lively with many restaurant and bar options. The acropolis was a 15min walk. Just be aware that the noise from the restaurants and bars was loud until 1am.

2/10 Poor

Loud like Mardi Gras
Great hotel if you want to party on Athens. Otherwise it is on top of a club that bangs cowbells and plays music until 3 am. It is a two bedroom but you can not use one of the bedroom because of the noise. It should really be marketed towards club goers as it’s in the middle of the clubbing district. The bathroom has mold in the shower and there was dust in the bedrooms. The owner was responsive to my complaints but could not fix the noise problem and I can’t explain the noise. Think bourbon street New Orleans at Mardi Gras. He said he would give me my money back if he could rent it out to others but I did not recieve any refund. After moving all the beds into one room for one night we checked out the next day and ended up paying for two hotels in Athens.

6/10 Good

Definitely a party neighborhood. They bill this property as sleeping 6 but it's really only 2 bedrooms and the rest have to sleep in the living room on pull out beds. Check-in staff were annoying because they kept saying our credit cards were declined but turns out they didn’t even take AMEX. Expedia claimed they charged half the room fee at booking but they never did.

Great location to restaurants, historic sites and shopping. The apartment was a great size with two bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Loved the balcony that overlooked the street. The energetic atmosphere around the property is fun, although the catch is that it is a bit noisy at night. My friend had the bedroom closer to the street so played soft music/used a white noise app on her phone which helped drown out the street noise. We really enjoyed being walking distance to the Acropolis and other historic sites.

Too noisy, it was not quiet until 2:00 in the morning, the bathtub drain was a bit blocked, and there was no hot water at the end of the shower, it turned into cold water. It is very convenient to various attractions.

Loved the location. Walkable to all sights in Central Athens. Room was “cozy”, but very efficient. Nice balcony with table and chairs. Room faced the back of the property, so little street noise. Neighborhood was awesome. Liked the property, but the room was a bit tired. Curtains were a disaster. Bedspread was from the 80’s. Shower door wouldn’t close and came off the track. Was happy with my stay, but would try elsewhere next time.

Wonderful option
Wonderful option for the area. Only the shower needs serious renovation and expansion, and the air conditioner is weak.

Not a nice place to stay
I would caution people to stay in this hotel. It is right across a night club. Over the weekend extremely laud music plays till 3 AM making it very hard to sleep. Our room is on the first floor and facing the street, probably making it more prone to the noise. Another short coming for this hotel is that there is no staff at the lobby so not your typical hotel. For us, the checking in information was not sent until less than 24 hours before. By that time we already board the plane and did not receive them until we struggled to check ourselves in. All the towels and bedding were not replace after three days. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

UrbanStay 2-Bedroom Review
The place was very nice and spacious. It is more like a two bedroom apartment than a hotel room. It would be great for a long stay in Athens. The area is bustling and there are a lot of dining options. However, that means there is music going on all night that one hears clearly in the apartment. The overall condition was good and the place was nicely decorated. The shower door leaked a bit.

Great location and outstanding service
Definitely 10/10. It was our first family vacation to Greece and I was very glad we booked at this place. Great location, a short walk to the Acropolis and almost everything else. Plenty restaurants nearby, even if you arrive very late night like in our case. Checkin was super easy and straightforward with the codes Takis provided beforehand. Apartment is kept very clean and you even got a tiny kitchen (The bathroom is at the small side though). We arrived on Sunday evening. As previous reviews pointed out, it was a bit noisy outside however the room insulated most of the noise out so it didn't bother us. The next day, probably because it is a regular working day, the street stayed quiet after maybe 10pm that we didn't hear anything at all. Takis is very friendly and did a fantastic job arranging transfers for our travel. He even went above and beyond arranging our transfers when we came back to Athens after our islands visit although we didn't stay there for that leg. Overall I am very satisfied with our stay at Urbanstay and would highly recommend to any family.
