Poor Stay
I am a loyal Hilton and Home2 guest and have always appreciated the value and courtesy offered by Home2.
This visit was disappointing. I felt like an unwelcome refugee at the hotel. First, the kitchenette sink drained slowly, and the garbage disposal was disconnected.
I booked through a third-party site, Hotels.com, and confirmed my two-night stay. I left the hotel on the first morning and returned after a long, busy day, only to find that my clothes had been removed from the closet, put into clear plastic bags, and sent to the baggage hold area. The front desk clerk's excuse was that there had been an error in the booking, and I was unreachable.
I received a call during the day from an unrecognizable number that didn't identify itself as Hilton or Home2. After retrieving my confirmation to prove the validity of my reservation, I was handed my crushed, bagged items to take back to the room. Unfortunately, no apologies were offered.
This will be my last stay with your company. I recommend providing training for housekeeping leaders to check room preparation and offering customer recovery skills training for guest-facing representatives.
