1. View: the only place you can watch sunset - as they advertise - is in the public pool area, certainly not from the private villa we rented.
2. Amenities: extremely rudimentary. There is no paper product available except toilet paper - no paper towel, no tissue paper or note paper. The wooden stair to the upper floor is narrow and steep and at the top landing, the ceiling is low. It hits the head. There is no shower curtain. The toilet floor is flooded as a result.
3. Staff: the lone female front desk staff "C", and the single male staff "I" were stoic. "I" took the luggage to the villa and handed over the key - with no explanation of the facilities. He tried turning on the pool night but it remained dark throughout our 7-day stay.
4. There is no cook/chef available at breakfast - the only time "the restaurant" served food. The few item of "hot foods" were pre-cooked. The 2 young attendants in the restaurant also served as cleaners and porters.
5. Overcharge: I booked a villa with a private pool, but the receptionist "I" gave us a shared pool. When the neighbours checked out the next day. Both "C" and "I" said that the neighouring unit would be vacant for 3 days. It was. At check-out, I was charged extra Euro 150 per day - total of Euro 450 - without being forewarned and agreed to!
