Good but....
The location is excellent, the place is clean, and the bed is comfortable. I especially loved the heated bathroom floor, and the room was warm as well. The automatic blinds outside the window were also convenient to use. However, I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom cleaning. There was an odor coming from the shower curtain in the bathtub, so I ended up washing and drying it myself.

Nice hotel with great staff. They didn’t notice I’d booked single beds but quickly rectified the situation on the day. Breakfast very expensive at €22 got self serve buffet with limited choice but other than that a good stay.

This is my 4th stay and I genuinely like the hotel. However this time as well as last time (3 months ago) the cleaning of the room was skipped one day. This time she came 15.30 to do the cleaning which was the same time as we got back from a day trip. We had to send her away without a clean room. Simply not okay. The reception said they were fully booked and the cleaning had until 16.00 to finish and she could not come back later. If they are so busy hire more staff. Bad excuses and actually a bid rude. It is not a cheap hotel and I expect cleaning to be done no later than 15.00.

Nice hotel
The room was very spacious, with good amenities. We were provided with hand lotion, disposable slippers, bottled water. The wardrobe is spacious, the air conditioning is powerful, the room is large. There’s a bed, table, chairs, large bathroom with multiple mirrors. Plenty of lighting. It isn’t the cleanest hotel and there are areas of not so perfect workmanship, but for us for one night is was certainly enough. There’s nothing much nearby, it’s a bus ride away from the main city centre. Berlin itself didn’t impress us in the slightest. There’s graffiti on everything, rubbish everywhere, homeless people on every street. In fact, there was a homeless person sleeping in the doorway of the hotel. I unfortunately will never return, but that’s a reflection on Berlin, rather than the hotel. If I absolutely had to return for any reason - I would stay here again. I wouldn’t get breakfast. Although it was good with a large buffet spread, it’s €20 each, which is a lot for cheese, ham, bread and cereal. The men on reception when we arrived were lovely and helpful, even offered advice regarding things to do.
