The room was very spacious, with good amenities. We were provided with hand lotion, disposable slippers, bottled water.
The wardrobe is spacious, the air conditioning is powerful, the room is large. There’s a bed, table, chairs, large bathroom with multiple mirrors. Plenty of lighting.
It isn’t the cleanest hotel and there are areas of not so perfect workmanship, but for us for one night is was certainly enough.
There’s nothing much nearby, it’s a bus ride away from the main city centre. Berlin itself didn’t impress us in the slightest. There’s graffiti on everything, rubbish everywhere, homeless people on every street. In fact, there was a homeless person sleeping in the doorway of the hotel.
I unfortunately will never return, but that’s a reflection on Berlin, rather than the hotel. If I absolutely had to return for any reason - I would stay here again. I wouldn’t get breakfast. Although it was good with a large buffet spread, it’s €20 each, which is a lot for cheese, ham, bread and cereal.
The men on reception when we arrived were lovely and helpful, even offered advice regarding things to do.
