Small but well laid-out room with a decent desk and very comfortable bed. In-window air conditioner is a bit noisy but works. Incredible views. Very friendly staff, especially at front desk and valet. Free breakfast is a bonus but I rarely took advantage because there's no where to sit (there's seating, but it's not optimized for eating and fills up fast).

I am sad to be leaving, I’ve really enjoyed my stay and all of the staff is amazing and friendly. I can’t wait to come back to Hawaii and stay here again. I’m so glad to have stayed here. My room clean, I loved that it had a fridge in it, and I love the style and decor of the room. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable and I like that it’s a low platform bed. Very much Japanese style. You can tell that the staff is like family here and they treat you the same. I’ve also met some great people having breakfast sharing a table.

Service and location was good, the hotel itself is outdated, dark atmosphere. Room carpet is black given you a depressing feeling. Shower top is filthy. Breakfast is ok, coffee is terrible. There is a resort fee of $35 which is ridiculous and there’s no Gym or pool. It’s a 3 start hotel NOT a Resort!! Valet parking is $40 a night. Definitely not staying here again.

This is a great hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was fantastic with lots of gluten free options. The hotel is close to the beach, shopping and amazing food. The bus is right outside to go to many of the attractions around Waikīkī. Rooms are on the small side but you don’t come to Waikīkī for the room so it suited us just fine.

We chose Oahu for our Anniversary celebration We chose Vive based on proximity to the beach, price, breakfast included, and price of daily parking (not in that order, the reverse in fact). We were pleasantly surprised by everyone's helpfulness, especially the valets. Room was clean, quiet, and roomy. Continental breakfast allowed for a quick start to our days,. Thank you for making our Anniversary extra special with your attention to detail upon our arrival.
