Everything was excellent especially my dinner at the Rainbird. Service was of the highest quality, the lobby for check-in was pleasantly fragranced, and the room was spic/span clean!!! If I ever visit the City of Merced again, I will stay @ El Capitan. I will tell all my family and friends.

Clean and unique in a safe neighborhood close to freeway. Friendly staff. Only criticism is walls seem to be a bit thinner than i like since I could hear the people next door talking though it sounds like they talking in a normal tone.

amazing hotel, right downtown merced California, right near the freeway, and only a couple hours from Yosemite national Park, I love staying here at this hotel, the staff is amazing and they always make you feel like you're returning home every time you visit. Front desk staff is amazing. Maintenance staff is great. Fix an issue I had before I even came back to my room. Great value, great location. 5 stars
