We loved this very quaint and historic hotel. The staff were most welcoming and were able to help us with our every need. They even helped to carry our bags up the stairs. ( there is no elevator). We were given a brief history of the home with the authentic tiles. The breakfast was delicious with homemade pastries. I couldn’t resist the cheesecake for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was street side but we didn’t find it noisy. The room was air conditioned. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. We were about a mile and half from the wonderful plazas and the downtown area by the Tagus. The front reception staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was convenient on a lot a block away . We would stay there again.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Lisbon. It was located within walking distance to many attractions as well as the subway. Breakfast was self serve but delicious with fresh fruit, yogourt, eggs, fresh bread.etc. It had an older European feel but was clean and elegant. Charming hotel. Beautifully decorated rooms along with helpful and knowledgeable staff. The location was great with art galleries, unique stores and delicious restaurants all within walking distance. While the hotel doesn't have parking onsite there is a reasonably priced(for 24hr parking), safe and secure public parking lot located very nearby. Can't wait to return. We booked a superior room so were a little disappointed and double checked with reception we had been given the right room, which apparently we had. Nothing like the picture. Had an intermittent smell of drains in the bathroom.
