I was impressed by both the value and the service provided at this budget hotel. Martin checked us in and was friendly and hospitable even though we arrived so late. The room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The location is outstanding, with great restaurants, cafes, and metros nearby. Will definitely book the Ibis Budget Potsdamer Platz when I return to Berlin!

Placement of bathroom, sink and shower were located separately, which was inconvenient. Shower was near impossible to get the correct temperature (it was either cold as ice or hot as fire). Water pressure wasn’t great either. There could also be more choices at the breakfast, but it was complementary. If you are there just to sleep, it’s still fair for the price and public transportation is just around the corner

I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets.
