The cottage was like a holiday home, clean, fully equipped & quiet surroundings, excellent wifi & subscription of Neflix, Prime video, Stan & Kayo sports. The layout was spacious, well designed & very comfortable. We were also surprised by the welcome gift after a long day drive.

We stayed in the sunrise cottage. We really enjoyed the stay, good accommodations for the price, blinds and some decor might need some updating soon but overall very good. The activity room and tennis court was a great however most of the table tennis balls were all broken but we found a good one under the couch! Overall we will definitely come back to stay if we come down that way again.

We had a lovely welcome with wine and chocolate. But this does not hide the problems of the property. The interior is unfortunately very outdated and run down. The dining table surfaces: holes and scratches. The carpets dirty and smelly. Sofas, chairs, kitchen ware… everything needs to be exchanged. It’s a shame as the place is huge and interestingly built.

PROS: Beautiful location Nice cottage and good set up Good amenities Awesome shower and bath Nice rainwater CONS: Hard mattress Place wasn't cleaned properly Super dusty and dirty and bugs galore inside Spiders, earwigs crawling in bed sheets and after we thought we had gotten rid of all the insects in the bed and room, when trying to sleep more spiders crawled on us and the next day found more earwigs on the bed. We were unsure how this happened as all the windows and doors were closed. Also got itchy and bites when sleeping If the insects don't bother you, it is really a nice place like a home, with the best shower set up I have ever used. But keep an eye on young children that no spiders or earwigs crawl on or bite them

Comfortable cottage in nice location
Stayed 5 nights in Sunset cottage. The single storey villa had a private verandah offering glimpses out to the beach. It was comfortably appointed ( not flashy), in good condition offering all one would need for a self catering stay ( could benefit from an additional medium size frypan) . Only criticism was the traffic noise from early morning to late afternoon from vehicles heading to and from the nearby beach. One gets used to it.

We booked last minute and would have preferred to be located between Denmark and Walpole, however once we arrived, we were quite happy with the location. 20 mins to Albany and 20 mins to Denmark with a national park behind you and an awesome beach less than a 10 mins walk from the property. Very happy with everything for the price we paid.

We had a very beautiful experience I have mobility issues I use a chair as well as mobility aids. We stayed in the Sunrise unit what a gorgeous clean unit. Surrounded with native plants a verandah with a sneaky view of the ocean even better we could hear the ocean. So happy with our stay we will be back thank you Deb & Greg 5⭐s
