I was pleasantly surprised that the room was a good sz, including the bathroom... The property was full of trees, with the benefit of utilizing their charcoal grills, a play area, a volleyball net, a pool.....and down by the lake, a deck, a fire pit, and several boats to use! Very nice 👍!

The staff was great and we enjoyed being able to take the kayaks on the water. Checkin in was easy as well. The rooms are very dated and need a major facelift. There were also some unidentified bugs in our room. During our stay a neighbor decided to sit outside our corner room (instead if his own) and frequently smoke so every time we opened the door the smoke smell billowed in.

I liked that the motel had free access to the lake and the use of boats. It was also nice that there was a pool available to use. The front desk service was fast and friendly and the room was clean. Some updates were sorely needed. The bathroom tile was popping up along the edge and I saw some mold growing on it. When the bathroom fan was turned on, it also blew out the light above the sink. Every time we turned the hot water on, you could hear the pipes slamming. The rug on the second floor was a bit of a tripping hazard as it had a fold sticking up running across the whole length. Otherwise, it was affordable and I would recommend it for the friendly staff and easy access to nature and nearby shops and attractions.
