Very disappointing and not worth the price

Highly disappointed by this hotel and I don't recommend: - Beach: this was the main reason I chose this hotel and actually the beach and water in front of the hotel is ugly, don't trust photo, there is no pristine water, there is no lounge chair or sunshade on the beach, and the size of the beach is very small. I did not even swam there and I went to another beach with pristine water and white sand, so clearly I would not have chosen this hotel if I had known. - Location: is it isolated in Tonsai, and there is no sign at all to find the hotel so at night it makes it very difficult to come back from restaurants-bars and find easily the way to the hotel. Also, despite being isolated it is very noisy because there are bars around with music until 2:30am - Bedrooms: first there is no intimacy because all bedrooms/huts of the hotels give in walkways (which are used by clients to go to their huts which are side by side thus people see inside bedrooms when they walk), so if you want intimacy you need to close curtains at all times and stay in the black (at least they should have put tinted windows to offset that). Also in my bedroom I heard other clients of closeby bedrooms, which is very annoying. Moreover airconditionning is very ageing and does not work well even set at 16 degrees. Finally there were already mosquitos in the bedroom when I did the check in. All in all, it was one of the most expensive hotel I paid for in Thailand and it was not worth it at all, I don't recommend

Amazing hotel, lovely staff, great food and breakfast buffé. Super happy! As other has mentioned there is noice from the nightclubs until like 2-4am so if your a light sleeper it is good to be aware of this. We stayed with our baby and toddler and we were ok :)

Hotel was lovely to chill during the day pool really nice staff friendly, but didn’t sleep a single wink due to the fact there’s a nightclub open over the water that is open till 3am every night of the week and playing loud music all night long. Due to this the hotel became abit of a pain and I was glad that I was only here for 1 night and not for the whole of my stay in Thailand.

We love everything about this hotel! It is loud at night but we were warned before booking and wore noise cancelling headphones at night. The amenities, location, service, pool, my kids loved the pool bar… so beautiful. The rooms were small but clean.

Hotel Review

It was a lovely hotel with great views and location, however there were a few downsides such as the air conditioning blowing out warm air and not powerful at all so as you can imagine trying to sleep was unbearable, there is also a bar across the way from the hotel which plays DJ loud music until 3 am every night. There is also a monkey which repeatedly came into our hotel and caused havoc by attacking people, stealing people’s belongings from their sunbeds and causing general disruption.

Smukt og støjende

Smuk sted men en party ø, så meget fest og larm om natten. Hytterne små og mørke og ingen lydisolering, men et smukt smukt sted og lækker pool område

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little resort. The casitas are perfect for a couple but would be too small for a family. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well. They have a great pool and a beach just steps away from the pool. I read a lot of reviews complaining about noise, there were bars accross the bay playing music until the early hours each morning. You could hear the base but I could never make out the song. I only heard it when I woke up at night to use the bathroom....it did not effect my sleep in any way! Phi Phi Island has a lot of bars with loud music but the side of the bay that this resort is on is very quite at night. I would be happy to stay here again.

Super schöne Unterkunft! Zimmer war top. Unser Zimmer lag etwas weiter hinten, weshalb wir die laute Musik am Abend/Nacht, über die man oft in den Kommentaren liest, kaum gehört haben.

A very special place and wonderful apartments. The staff was very nice and helpful at all times. The area is absolutely like paradise. Unfortunately, due to parties at the beach the nights can be quite loud.

Coco Beach is a very nice hotel. We stayed in a cabin in the front with a view of the beach and pool area. And we are very pleasant by that. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was nice and the level of service was high. We did know that Phi Phi is a loud island. But it is sad that the noise from the bars on the beach is that loud. And the walls of rooms at Coco Beach are very thin. But overall we recommend the hotel.

Nestled in a picturesque location, this hotel offers a charming stay with excellent facilities and attentive service. From the moment of arrival, guests are well taken care of, with a warm welcome and seamless assistance with luggage at the port. The unique bamboo rooms, while compact, are thoughtfully designed to include all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, it’s worth noting that access involves navigating four to five uneven steps, which may be a consideration for those with mobility concerns. The pool area is a highlight, offering a serene and well-maintained space with ample sun loungers and a convenient poolside bar. Adjacent to the pool, the hotel’s restaurant serves a generous buffet breakfast, complete with a wide variety of options, including eggs made to order—an ideal way to start the day. Despite these appealing aspects, the hotel does have one notable drawback: noise. The rooms lack soundproofing, and the surrounding nightlife brings loud music well into the early hours, often persisting until 2–3 a.m. For those staying near the back of the property, early morning staff activity adds another layer of disturbance, with noise starting as early as 7 a.m. While the hotel itself is lovely, with friendly staff and great amenities, the lack of nighttime tranquility may be a dealbreaker for light sleepers. For traveler's who prioritise atmosphere and service over absolute quiet, it remains a compelling choice.
