Don't pay £28 per person to visit Blenheim Palace, unless you want to go inside. there is another way in to the grounds and they are free to walk around. Take the bus into Oxford it's not much longer than going by car.

It's a great location! Blenheim was a short walk away, Oxford a cheap bus ride and the villages of chipping Norton and Burford a short drive!

Parking is a bit tricky, we arrived in the evening so had no issues getting a space in Union Street carpark but in the day time looks difficult to get a spot as it's a busy little town.

Woodstock is a lovely characterful historic town. Just a nice place to spend time.
" Beautiful Hotel.
Prefer if front desk lady didn’t keep asking personal questions!! What will you do when you’re here ? Have you been here before? Etc Sorry just prefer to check in quickly !!
Hotel is far from City . Parking in the City is a nightmare!!
Parking at the hotel is great .
Super dinner food / atmosphere.
Breakfast was pretty basic though .
Overall a great hotel, in lovely grounds .
Would stay here again ."
"Overall very impressed with Cotswolds Hotel & Spa. Booked a family room and although it was not made up for 4 people when we arrived, it was quickly resolved.
The room was very hot, even with windows open but they had provided a fan.
3 out of four of us paid for breakfast. The fourth person only wanted a filter coffee. Think they could have thrown that in free of charge as 3 were paying full price, but that is only a nice to have."
"Excellent service for breakfast & hotel manageress. Very helpful & effecient.
Only issue was lighting in room. Bright overhead light & dim bed lights made it very difficult to read. "
"Nice room. Comfortable bed. Both kettle and coffee maker available with biscuits! Bottled water in fridge. Quiet and great location on main high street. Plenty of parking. Staff polite, friendly and helpful."
