The main thing that let it down was the overall condition of everything. It’s just very tired in places and in much need of an update. There were bits falling off the bar roof by the pool and lots of things were broken. In our room hardly any of the light switches worked and we didn’t even want to go near the outside tub, it was just a bit grim."

Getting anywhere on the island is never more than an hour away. Traffic looks daunting but once you get used to the proper side of the road, it’s more forgiving than it looks. People will always give you room.
