Pierre is a very nice, 'safe' feeling town, with a LOT of history! Good food choices for a budget...check out Uncle Tom's! Good food and good price!

I was expecting more of a city, but Pierre is really a town with a capital. It definitely has a small town vibe.

most places in this town close by 9 pm check with the locals as to where to go late night. you must remember that this town is good sized but it's on the edge of a few reservations that surround it.Very safe town thats on the edge of civilization.

"Cheap place to sleep for 2 nights. I was staying by myself. I would not stay with my kids. Tv remote volume or power didnt work. No alarm clock in room. Rooms need to be updated.
