We hadn't stayed in Kamloops for several years. We found the town to be lovely within the boundaries set by river and railway. We felt very welcome. It's a great place for food, craft beer and wine. Lots of lovely parks and green spaces. A delight!

Highly recommend visiting the museum if you have young kids - less museum displays, more imaginative play zone. The kids absolutely loved it. And just a few blocks away is one of the best public water parks we've been to. Kids had a blast.

Kamloops is a great place to stay to enjoy all of the activities in and around the area. We stayed for skiing at Sun Peaks and although 45 min away it was worth the huge cost savings.

Great town with very community minded folks. Downtown Kamloops was surprisingly a cultural diversed community with amenity to support local artists. Lots of events coming up to keep the community entertained.

I liked the size of the city. It was enjoyable to walk in River Park & around downtown. Also, they were interesting, locally run shops near the hotel. Crossing the downtown roads was easy. Press the arrow & a voice system announced the street.

A nice downtown and great bike paths. A bit sketchy in areas, particularly at night.
"Not enough staff. Breakfast was limited and coffee and bread run out fast and nobod was avail to keep up. Had to call front desk staff back to make coffee and get bread etc.
Not enough staff."
"We had a great stay, it was clean, tidy, friendly staff, and a clean outdoor pool. The parking lot lights are bright and on all night long, but the curtains worked well to keep the light out. Very quiet, except for our neighbours shower, we could hear it every time but couldn’t hear them at all. Would stay again!"
"Great facility. New and clean.
Two good dinning options on site.
Moxxie’s and Shark’s sport bar.
Easy walk to nearby craft breweries downtown.
Pedway right there to avoid train traffic in order to access downtown.
Just across street from nice and amenity filled municipal park and beach along the Thompson river.
Would be a great place to stay in winter for hockey fans, being across street from Sandman arena where Kamloops Blazers of WHL play. "
