Great restaurants and shopping and history. Easy walking. Really enjoyed the royal mile walk. Lots of places to come back to. Visit incognito a cocktail bar hidden behind a secret door. Great fun very theatrical. The real Greek was a delicious lunch

What a beautiful place for a mini break. For me, the history and Royal interest were priority and for my daughter there was a great variety of shops. Windsor has a fabulous selection of restaurants & eateries, offering all styles of cuisine.

Most people visiting Windsor will either be going to the Castle or Legoland. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops and lots of interesting buildings to enjoy. A trip along the river or a venture in Eton are recommended.

Windsor is lovely the town has lots of charm and history. Along with touring the Castle I also suggest walking over the Eton bridge and along the Main Street through Eton.

Would definitely recommend walking the castle, LEGOLAND was also a blast.
"View amazing from castle view upgraded room! You could not get better, 2 windows directly opposite the castle on the first floor!
