"The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk to the sbb which for us was fantastic. There's a lot of dinning options as well as shopping and bakeries but keep in mind mostly everything closes by 7pm.
The hotel was very clean. Nothing fancy but really clean and well keep. Rooms are clean everyday and they all have black outa so it is a very comfy. The AC works but don't expect AC freezing temps, it's comfortable enough to sleep good. We were there during the hot summer and had no issues. "
"Wonderful location, beautiful views on the lake, mountains and castle. I loved being able to walk down the lake each morning for a swim, using the hotel's access and facilities (dressing room, toilet) right on the lakeside. "
"The building was beautiful and the room was nice and big. The view looking out is absolutely gorgeous. The view also in the back is amazing. Unfortunately, their breakfast did not match The view. Also, we thought the breakfast was complimentary and even then I wouldn't have eaten it, but I didn't realize we were getting charged even for the breakfast for how bad it was. Also there is not AC in all the rooms. Keep that in mind if it's a hot day that you go. Also the water is leaking out on the shower onto the carpet. Without there being AC it could cause some mildew buildup if they don't get on top of it. Even with those things we really enjoyed or stay."
"Great place. Quirky yet comfortable rooms in a central location. I liked the the serviced communal areas on the first floor for preparing own food, gave it a youth hostel type feel. The presence of the helpful friendly hosts added to the charm of the place. The roof terrace with views of the mountains and the city were a favourite place to bring breakfast and start the day.
Superb stay, glad we hadn't chosen anywhere else!"
