The Dubrovnik pass card is worth the money - access to the city walls & other sights that I wouldn't otherwise have visited. There is so much beauty to be found in simply wandering without purpose, stumbling on unexpected views & places to eat/drink

A wonderful walled old town to visit if you have good mobility. Cable cars, boat trips and walking will show you the best of Dubrovnik. So much history, culture and wonderful restaurants. The cleanest old town I've ever visited.

Great location, would recommend the Dubrovnik pass to walk the walls and visit lots of attractions in one go. We got the 3 day pass and made use of it, from museums, the walls to using it on the buses.

I'd recommend to take a boat to the Lokrum island, amazing cliffs for swimming, great park for walking, game of thrones location 👍 The boats are leaving each 30 min from the sea port

Do not go during the height of the tourist season or if you can avoid it, when multiple cruise ships are in port. It is a lovely city but it gets extremely busy during these times.

It was busy even in October with the cruise ships bringing big tour groups. But a beautiful and interesting city full of history. We had a great trip out to the Blue Cave

Super clean city, very friendly locals. Steeped in history, walk the walls, go up on the cable car and visit Lokrum. Restaurants are plentiful and lots of choice.

If you're visiting the old town you need to avoid the cruise ship guided tours (basically visit before 10am and after 4pm) it gets very congested.
"I stayed at Rixos for 2 nights and had the most amazing stay. The staff were super friendly. The view from our room was amazing aswell as the amenties. Its very close to old town so was easy enough to get there to experience old town.
The breakfast was great there was so much options on what to have. Overall 5* hotel!"
"I like the fact there were many options for food. There were restaurants within the hotel and outside by the pool. I also had a nice updated room with a great view. It was very quiet during the evenings and end at nights. I especially like the fact I can use the indoor pool or the outdoor pool depending on the weather. Everything was nice and clean."
"Exceptional staff, excellent food, all the facilities you could hope for, restaurants, bars, spa, gym and the elevator takes you straight to the beach. V-Level was well worth the upgrade. Vedran, Ivan & Marija looked after us so well throughout the trip. Bus to old town right outside the hotel that leaves every 10mins for just a couple of Euros. Would come back in a heartbeat. "
"The Hotel Lapad was lovely. The staff was great at check in, however I did have to ask for my VIP perk the next day (bottle of wine.) The pool area is beautiful, but they put the loungers away at 7pm. Also, if you want a lounger (sun bed), get to the pool early since there aren’t enough considering the size of the hotel.
The hotel is in a lovely area, but it is a €20 taxi ride (one way) to the old town. Parking is very convenient, with a gated lot next to the hotel.
The breakfast buffet is large and has many options. They do have complimentary sparking wine, so you can make your own Bellinis
Overall a great stay "
