Groton was a lot of fun. Try Paul's Pasta shop for dinner, it was amazing. The submarine force museum is also great, and the price is right.

Lighthouse cruise departing from 2 Ferry St., New London is "MUST DO" and highly recommended. This time we did on Monday after 7/4. Quiet and gorgeous 2-hr cruise with high speed boat makes us cooler and a Big Fan!
