"our original room was not very nice - hardly had a real bathroom - the shower was a closet as was the sink. we paid extra to get a different room and even this upgraded room did not have a bathtub
also my husband paid for the spa circuit and both the jucuzzi and steam shower were not hot
on the positive side - pretty views of the vineyard, and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. staff was very friendly"

"A nice hotel, was a monastery. Grounds very pleasant. Rooms very comfy. After a long drive i found the bar ,not working, but the reception did get me a very nice beer. Which we drank in the garden. The restaurant was also not working. But a 10 minute walk we found a real nice restaurant serving local food. In all there must have been a reason for the not working, which shouldn't take any thing away from a very nice hotel, would stay again.

"Centre of town next to cathedral fantastic location. Great tapas bar underneath and in san Juan or 3 minutes walk to calle del Laurel. Comfy bed, slept great and had a lazy day just going to Navarrete. My second stay here and the staff are great. Easy to book easy to get in at 2.15pm when I arrived and easy to leave on my lazy day at 10:45 feeling pampered after the albergue world of the Camino. I'd come here when I wasn't on Camino. Great value."
