"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Seaside Hotel. We love it. The beach is right outside our door. The restaurant is 80 yards away and the staff is polite and helpful. Walking into town is easy all you have to do is take a stroll down the beach, go up some stairs and you are in the heart of town. Get up early to watch the sunrise for sure! My favorite thing to do. We always come on the weekdays and town is quiet. We came on the weekend once and it was busy. Both experiences are fun....

"Rooms are clean and the staff is nice. The location is not the best and the old sign in the front might make you second guess the place but I was comfortable. On the negatives: Pillows are too hard, no iron or hair dryer provided. There is an onsite restaurant that is reasonable in price but the food is not great- average at best. "

"I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and really liked it, so I returned for two nights. My experience at the desk was mixed. The the location on the beach is very nice and overall the hotel is just average. The office staff was initially friendly and the manager is most helpful. We had some issues which may or may not be resolved. They work hard to upgrade you, but forget to tell you that the Internet doesn’t work, the phones don’t work, and the upgraded suites are noisy. "This was one of those oh my god experiences, as the property is surrounded by the high desert and is exceptionally beautiful. From my window I had a great view of the cacti forest, and as the sun went down I went and explored the paths around the hotel, and it was exceedingly beautiful. Loved it."
