"It was truly an amazing experience. View alone worth million dollar. Staff was extremely considerate and courteous. Swimming pool and Hot tub experience was great. Not to mention, food was very delicious and tasteful. I will recommend very highly and will say just have breakfast and dinner at this place only. There was some minor issue with the internet but the staff actioned it right away. You may feel place is slightly away from LA Fortuna but the price and experience, no one can beat it. "

"Big, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and dinner menu. Friendly staff. It is a 2 minute walk up beach, this beach is quite rustic and a few more minutes to walk to more sandy beach. My only con was the outdoor grounds could have used a power wash and the pool sitting area was dirty and slimy. "

"Greivin & Heylin thought of everything when creating the Yarumo Lodge Rio Celeste Black Chalet! My family of 4, including 12 and 16 year old sons, had a fabulous weeklong stay at the end of June. The location was easy to find, the hosts were hospitable--welcoming us at arrival with a nice treat and overview of the property, including a resource guide for local attractions, dining, and activities. The beds were comfortable and the full kitchen was stocked with all the cooking essentials to prepare meals from food we purchased at the grocery that's less than 10 minutes away. We look forward to staying here every time we travel to Bijaqua de Upala."

Monkeys and a toucan just outside our room, and we went on a jungle hike to see sloths and other creatures just 10 minutes away. They’re very committed to sustainable living and eco tourism. "
