This is a relatively new hotel and we were very excited to have the opportunity to try this hotel. It did not disappoint. Check-in was very friendly incl. some information we requested prior over the phone. The rooms are new and in great shape. I loved the design and the placement of the bed/desk is very clever. The queen bed offered great comfort. My only remark is that the pillows were really flat. We didn't ask for different ones, so not sure if they have better ones. The room is equipped with a Nespresso machine and tea making facilities. Issues with equipment were quickly resolved. We had breakfast one day and it being COVID-19 era, there was no buffet. Not cheap, but we did get all extras we requested. The kitchen is capable of making amazing food; we had a 3 course dinner one night and it was a great experience. There are plenty of good wines and beers on tap to choose from, and the bar/restaurant area is a great place to rewind after returning to the hotel at night. Parking is available but you'll have to pay and it doesn't seem to be linked to the hotel. There is a fitness next door but it's not affiliated to the hotel and I wonder if it is available for hotel guests: that would be a nice option. Weather permitting, there are plenty of great running tracks around or you could rent a bike in the shop next door. The area is great for exploring and well worth a visit. Overall we were really impressed by this hotel and would certainly recommend it.

Good located hotel for walkers (city and countryside). Restaurants and local attractions are all within walking distance. It was easy to park our car nearby. Friendly staff at the reception and the hotel restaurant. Breakfast variety is fine, however I wish they would add natural honey to put on my freshly baked croissants instead of Dutch peanut butter. Besides that, I would highly recommend your hotel and stay again.

The great and quiet location of this brand new hotel is perfect to visit Maastricht and Valkenburg. The hotel staff at the reception and at the breakfast buffet are helpful and courteous. Downtown Valkenburg is 7 mins walk from the hotel and has several restaurants and shops. Easy parking closeby (free overnight from 6pm till 11am and in wintertime). Breakfast was super with many options (egg, bacon, pancakes, cheese, fruit, cereals... you name it) and freshly brewed hot drinks and juice. The room is extremely spacious: comfortable bed and adjustable room temp for a good night's sleep, enjoyable rainshower, deskarea with coffee corner and tv. Notice all is new! Excellent value, spacious and convenient. I will definitely return and recommend your hotel to friends and family.

Stayed in order to experience the Valkenburg Christmas markets and found that the Black Label Hotel was a very good choice due to its close proximity to the main town center. The walking distance was essentially the same distance that everybody else would walk who parked in the public spaces; which is where the hotel parking is located. It's about four minutes walk to parking which is directly off the main road nearby. The hotel design is industrial/modern but the rooms and beds were comfortable and the location very quiet. Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold items which allowed my family of four to each find what they liked.

This is a new efficient hotel, with a industrial aesthetic , and a dumb heat and air system. we stayed in December 2018. we had barely any sleep in dry, overheated room. the air controls did nothing. no fan, no cooler air. we opened a window, which did little as the thick curtains stopped air flow. we opened the curtains , flooding the bed with light from a street lamp. On a cold damp night ,with the full height window tilted back from ceiling and fully open with a 20cm slot at top ,we slept better but very poorly, and as a result , did not enjoy the next day. Also there was 1 useless square pillow each, requiring folded clothes to bolster, as no more pillows in room, and no info offering a choice. sadly these problems outweighed the positives. IF you are a cold boned person, then go here.. Id like to add ,our home temperature is 20c , and thats tee shirt temp for us.

Industriële inrichting sober maar goed. Redelijk ontbijt, maar wat een mooie ligging in Valkenburg.

Black Label Hotel Valkenburg, is een MODERN opgezet hotel. Mooie omgeving, goed bereikbaar.
