We chose this hotel for its 8.5+ ratings on Hotels.com and other platforms, with great reviews. As fans of clean hotels, it seemed perfect. However, our stay was a letdown.The front desk was empty on arrival. After ringing the bell, a lone staff member emerged from folding laundry in the back. The room looked clean at first, but I stepped in a dried puddle of what seemed like urine in the bathroom—one of the worst hotel experiences ever. My husband confirmed it looked like urine. I called the desk, but after 20 minutes with no response, he cleaned it himself so I could use the bathroom, using a hand towel as a mop. The same staff member arrived later.That night, choosing between two queen beds (instead of a king), I noticed a greasy, wet spot on one headboard. It wiped off, confirming it was fresh, so we slept in the other bed. The next morning, when I went to take photos of the headboard stain for management, I saw makeup stains all over the comforter. Then, I noticed a crusty, feces-like spot on the chair where my husband worked.This hotel was a major disappointment. Understaffing and poor cleanliness don’t match its high ratings. They need more staff and better maintenance. We won’t return or recommend it.
