This felt more like a 4 star hotel, but not bad for an all inclusive. Check in was quite disorganized and busy. We got to the hotel around 1:30 and they did not have any rooms this week until past 3 pm check in time. We had to go to the front desk 3-4 times, then get our wrist bands assigned with the room even after check in. We were pretty tired from our flight so it wasn’t the easiest process of what we are use to for a 5 star resort. It also says we may be eligible for an early check in, check in welcome drink, and room upgrade - didn’t get any of those perks.
The pool area is huge and nice, but limited staff and you must get up to get your own drinks and towels. You get towel cards and are only allowed 1 towel per guest. If your lounge towel gets wet, no extra towel. Luckily the weather was nice so you’ll dry quickly.
Food was plentiful which is expected for an all inclusive, but quality was so so. Our last night we enjoyed the Mexican restaurant on the 3rd floor with a nice view. Didn’t discover this till our last night, but don’t miss the Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants tucked above the main buffet area.
Room service food is basic. Nachos, sandwich, burger, hot dog, salad, and fruit. Saw a roach in our room so we were scared to leave food in the room.
Casino doesn’t let you win. Very small and the roulette screen is always broken on purpose. We had a fun time though.
Overall enjoyed our stay, but probably won’t revisit this resort.
