Kirkjufell Hotel

The property is very old... The staff was talking on phone all the time when we check-in which shows no hospitality. We booked a room with double bed. However, we were given a room with two single beds and even worse, the lock is not working at all!! Not to mention that there is half bottle of cold water remaining in the boiler which seemed to us that they didn't do the cleaning. We asked for a double room (i.e. what we have booked at Expedia) at the reception desk. The receptionist was again talking on phone and being impolite by throwing us the key for another room. As the room given was still disappointing, we turned out checking out and spent extra sum for another hotel! I am very disappointed with this experience and i definitely recommend you not to spend a penny there!

Old hotel that had an odor. Bathroom was dirty and mildew.

This is an older hotel in need of updating. Both the sink and the shower were extremely slow to drain. All five TV channels showed the same music video. Disappointing!

The hotel is at good location but is a bit overpriced for what it is offering

Rooms small to tiny, no lift to upper floors. Breakfast very basic toast and cereals

It was convenient, parking was great and the views were unbelievable. Breakfast was also very yummy. A little walk down the street brought you to a great pizza place, so you didn't have to go to far to get food.

Hotel is quite run down. Small tv and toilet is small.

Definitely you can stay in this hotel!

The employees are good. But it locates in a seaport industry area, wired smell from a fish factory. Room is dark, bothroom is small. The worst is the bebs and quilts are dirty as they didn't change from last customers.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were too soft and were definitely not double sized. Breakfast was good.
