My partner and I recently stayed at The Yard Hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The main reason for choosing this hotel was its advertised spa facilities, but upon arrival, I was informed that the sauna and pool were out of service. There was no prior communication about this, which felt very misleading.
Adding to the frustration, the staff at check-in were unhelpful and unfriendly when I raised the issue. Instead of offering solutions or even an apology, they dismissed my concerns, which made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a guest.
While the hotel itself may have some nice features, the lack of transparency and poor customer service left me regretting my choice to stay here. If spa facilities or attentive service are important to you, I’d recommend considering other options.
