This is a nice, comfortable hotel, in a good location for exploring Koblenz. It has a nice outdoor area - the Frog pond - and is on the path along the river. We visited on a weekend without a reservation, and found this to be very expensive relative to other hotels along the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. There was an extra charge for breakfast.

Not right in the center of Koblenz but a nice walk (30 min) along the Mosel river to the German corner. Free parking. Nice rooms. Great staff with great information. Great breakfast, outside seating and sparkling wine. Not much shopping right around, big food store and the largest beer store I have ever been to think Costco size

Just able to stay one night in Koblenz but really enjoyed this hotel. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large, clean, and well appointed. Had a beer in the very nice beer garden. Would highly recommend.

Very clean with nice staff. Hotel itself is very kitsch and was probably fashionable about 30 years ago. Large rooms which also have a small kitchen area. There is a nice river walk into town from the hotel.

This is a quirky hotel that seems to do everything well. The restaurant was very good with lots of outdoor and indoor dining options. The food was very good and exceeded expectations. The staff was helpful and efficient.

we booked a large room and it was huge! for the $$$ a good deal, did not try the breakfast. In a quiet area near the river mosel, a bit hard to find. parking is free and located across the hotel in an open air large plot.

The Contel is a good hotel. Facilities are clean. There is a bar and restaurant. Good breakfast, however the restaurant does get very full at peak times. Rooms are nice and spacious. My room also had a bath as well as a shower. Staff are helpful and nice A 15 minute walk along the fiver gets you to the Altstadt and the centre of the city. I will definitely be staying there again
