Nice place, very simple though (rooms are basic), bathroom ok. We had leeches in our room which was less funny because I was bitten... rather disgusting, and I think they should inform their customers to be careful (we did not know what it was unless it stuck on my foot). Furniture is old and a bit neglected but the matrasses were comfortable. Very nice staff. Jack (Canadian fellow who helps out, has really good advices)
Maybe a little pricy for what it is, but the estate is nice. Far from the city, so you. red a car because you taxis seem not want to come until there.

Resort style guesthouse
Quite a nice place about 8 km north of central Chiang Rai. Tuk tuks charged 120-150 baht and taxis about 180 baht to get to the night market, for example.
The bungalow was a bit old and needed a good clean. Bungalows also need stepping stones to link them to the paths so guests don't need to walk over soggy ground. The private, open air bathroom was nice.
The pool is also nice but very deep for a hotel pool so not ideal for children.
Staff were friendly and made an effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
