I have a poorest experience in OBLU Helengeli resort. This is my fifth times to Maldives but the experience in the resort destroy my whole holiday with family. All the staffs and managers on the island are not helpful and friendly, they can not give helps when I have problems in doing the reservation or on board.
1. I do reservation on June, and I have tell the resorts I will come with a five years old child for several times already, they didn’t tell there is an extra charge until the full payment is made and non-refundable. I ask helps from the hotel.com and resort, they don’t think it is their business.
2. Once I get on the island, the staffs didn’t offer us any transport to the villa, and ask my family walk to the villa by ourselves. In the villa, no instruction how to contact the front desk. I walk to the front desk by myself and ask for 2 bottles of water, and no water after waited for 2 hours. If you want to ask for help in using the apps of the resorts, the staffs will show you a black face. The staffs played cell phone on duty. I feel strong race discrimination among the stuffs, I strongly recommend think twice if you are in yellow skin tone and want to go to the resort to have holiday. It can’t give you a normal resort services.
3. My family finally leave the island one days earlier than our reservation. Even it is non-refund, we give up our stay, go to another resort, leave the hell. The staffs are rubbish again, they fail to manage my speedboat time correctly
