Carlos was a pleasure to work with! He is passionate about his city and provided many great suggestions which did not disappoint. His home was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Thank you for a great introduction to Barcelona!

This place is a gem! Carlos has provided everything to make his guests comfortable. Toiletries in the bathroom, lovely Nespresso, extras in the fridge etc. The bed is king and comfortable, ceiling fans keep it comfortable, the sun room is charming. It is super quiet for sleeping as the bedrooms face the interior. Very clean, plenty of thick towels. We really like the Eixample area, and there are lots of nice bars and restaurants in the area. You can walk to most of the major sites. Have rented lots of apts in Spain and this is one of the best!!!

Carlos was there to welcome us and made us feel right at home. Just steps from la Rambla and great central location to explore Barcelona.

We had a great experience in Barcelona. The location was wonderful, around the corner from Casa Batllo. The metro station was very close as well Carlos was a great host, helping us navigate the city and even arranging for a transfer to the airport. The apartment had everything we needed to relax after a busy day exploring Barcelona. If we return to Barcelona, we would love to stay here again.

This two bedroom apartment is roomy and light. The kitchen is well-equipped for whatever food preparation one might want to do, and the neighborhood has many varied restaurants for those who prefer to eat out. Carlos is a warm and welcoming host who is available to address any questions about the area, the metro system, local attractions, and shops. The location is perfect, near bus and metro lines to Barri Gotic and El Born, as well as La Familia Sagrada and the most recently opened Gaudi gem, Casa Vincens. La Pedrera and Casa Batllo are within easy walking distance. I have stayed in numerous VRBO properties in Europe, Canada, and the US. This is one of the best!

Carlos is an absolutely amazing host. He took time to explain the area, show and explain maps, show and explain things in the apartment, and just welcome us to Spain and Barcelona. Such a positive and thoughtful host. Thank you!

Stayed here for three nights with my wife and 22-year old daughter. Carlos was an outstanding host. He was there when we arrived and spent a lot of time getting us acquainted with Barcelona. The apartment was in a safe and central area, thus we were able to walk to all the main attractions and restaurants. The apartment was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Communication with Carlos prior to arriving and during our stay was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the perfect spot to stay in Barcelona, and Carlos is the perfect host. The spacious, quiet, 2 bedroom apartment is two blocks from the wonderful Paseo de Gracia and Casa Mila. Plaza du Cataluna, La Rambla and Gothic quarter are a 10-15 minute walk and Sagrada Familia a 15-20 minute walk. If you prefer not to walk, it's on the Metro and major bus routes. Carlos met us upon arrival (and got up very early to say goodbye). He had many helpful suggestions for local places to eat and grocery shops and metro/bus routes to get to the sights. He also helped make some phone calls in Spanish on our behalf. The apartment, while not luxurious, is very well appointed and has all the amenities - kitchen utensils, linens, free, fast wifi - you could want. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Barcelona.

This apartment is in one of the most central, beautiful neighborhoods in Barcelona. It is close to public transportation, everything Gaudi, excellent restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, tapas, pharmacies and more. It is on a tree lined street, away from the bigger boulevards. This is a quiet apartment, away from tourist hotels and safe enough to walk at night. It is in a beautiful old building, well taken care of. Everything you could want in an apartment is here. The bathroom is large, with a large shower, two bedrooms, both of which have comfortable beds. The kitchen is charming and chock full of every cooking implement you can think of. It has a full sized refrigerator. The windows across the back of the apartment are in a sitting area, with couch and desk. I could not have asked for a better host. Carlos is wonderful, creative, responsive and can help you with anything and everything. I felt so fortunate to have a great experience with a host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I will definitely stay here next time I visit.
