Lovely old building, staff were great, nice and welcoming. Good budget hotel, would definitely stay again

Glad we chose room 11 as this is the only en-suite room. Clean and comfortable room.

Convenient location, helpful staff, decent value Unfortunately they dont do breakfast and the bar was not that welcoming

the hotel is very old with a history with a leaflet to tell its story. The staff and customers were very polite and friendly.

The hotel is very comfortable as we stayed in room 11 (en-suite) Jenny the proprietor was very accommodating and helped with our every need. The prices were very reasonable. But a let down was the very limited menu. For dinning look further a field

TV did not work properly, bed not that comfortable. Property was very nice service good

Nice old building but rooms dusty and shower had mould on the doors (not ensuite). The room door had a 6mm gap which ratlted - I had to put a sock in the jamb to stop the noise. No hot water in the room. The bed headboard top was thick with dust. Jenny was very nice and helpful, welcoming. Downside no breakfast, but Greedy Monkey cafe 300 yards away does good breakfasts. Place needs a good refurbishment programme to modernise facilites - the hotel does have potential.

Good value for price, bed could be better ( cheap mattress ) but as only there a couple of night I managed .Very clean , and staff helpful. Would stay again
