We waited for our room as we were early which was no problem. We went to check in after 4pm check in time. We were taken and put into a dirty room. Housekeeping staff reported they only had the kitchen to finish. So we waited on the balcony. The staff apologized and told us that this room was own by third party so they could not assist we needed to contact property owner. They left dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dust everywhere. Toilet was broken. And making a loud buzzing noise. We called the number on the app to contact property. We wanted them to be aware the toilet issues was before we got in there. We spoke with manager of guest services manager James. Who was very rude and condescending. Never once apologized. The only thing he offered to us was to leave the room and have housekeeping come back and re clean the entire condo. As it was already past check in time and long day travel that is the last thing we wanted to do. Manager james continued to question me regarding toilet. Stated that toilets break they will send someone to fix it. Someone had to come 3 times to fix it. The second toilet then kept clogging and we were given a plunger. The pool and beach are great. Just rent with caution as you are dealing with third party with this room. Front desk can only help so much. Its a lot of money you spend on room to have to clean it and plunge toilets. Luxury Suites needs better customer service for their guest and better communication

Book with Marriott Property instead
Let me first start off by saying while these suites are part of the Marriott property, you are not booking with the Marriott and the service is nowhere near the same.
The room looked clean and nice at first glance but as we settled in we realized it is in need of deep cleaning. There were stains on the couch/sofa bed, throw pillows and the sofa bed itself was unstable and didn’t set up properly. As we were setting it up we realized we didn’t have any sheets for it (there were only itchy blankets and comforters available). When we called to ask for sheets and to inform them about the sofa bed, the gentleman was very defensive saying “no sofa beds are comfortable” and since we bought the least expensive room (keep in mind we booked the “luxury king suite”) that we shouldn’t expect anything else but that he’d be glad to upgrade us at our expense. The room wasn’t very neat. Lamp shades were tilted, shelf items were pushed to the side and not placed very neat. All in all it was terrible. Since this property shares the property with Marriott, it seems nice at first but it’s definitely not up to Marriott standards for hospitality, cleanliness or comfort. Spend the extra $$$$ per night to get what you’re expecting.

From the moment I checked in, it was hot and the a/c was broken. They sent “engineers”to look and they just changed a filter and left. Some the a/c didn’t begin to cool, then sent another engineer the following day. The the reset the system and told us to wait a few hours. On the third day, a real a/c mechanic determined that the system’s motherboard was shot and it would’ve never began to work. After 3 HOT days, they moved us to another room. The promised to contact me for refunds and NOBODY ever did.

Would have Been 5 stars!! Chexk in was Misleading, If you TELL A Guest U WOULD DO SOMETHING! JUST HONOR WHAT YOU SAY!!! Still Waiting for SOMEONE TO REACH OUT!!! SAD. Valet Parking a TRIP! I only had problems with the room, not the hotel. The room was supposed to have a bedroom, it was a large efficiency with open walls, no privacy or sound control. The room flooded in the middle of the night, I think water was coming from the Fridge. When we got into the room the trash was full from the last visitors.

The hotel staff was fantastic.
The common areas were well kept.
Even though expedia said the resort fee was included, it was not, But we only had to pay it for the one day we used it, rather than the whole stay.
The unit we were in had an odd smell when we entered. Either the unit had not been used for a while, or the carpet needs to be replaced and they tried to shampoo it. There was a visible layer of dust on the ceiling fans and the phone in the bathroom. There were no spoons in the kitchen, there were a ton of forks and other items. There was no dishwashing soap for handwashing dishes. The water in the bathtub came out brown, so a nice tub bath was out of the question. Their version of premium oceanview was a north facing room with a view of the coast and the intercoastal, not exactly the corner oceanview unit I had hoped for with all around views of the ocean. Overall, I feel as though I will not order through expedia again, I’d prefer direct with the resort. I would not stay at this resort again.

Our stay started off rough as a 4 o'clock check in time is way to late. Then we get into our room.it always a very nice room I ordered a ocean front view and I got a little bit of a side view ocean so ocean front it was not the king bed had a dip in the mattress on one side and the blow dryer didn't work and the spa which we were so looking forward to was closed due to a water problem which we were very disappointed abt, but other then that it was very nice the people at front desk and concierge the restaurant for all extremely nice. Unfortunately I have no photos to show

Beautiful hotel and amenities. Two pools were great. One was more relaxing and another one was kid friendly with an awesome waterslide. There were many places to find food or a drink. The bellhop was amazing when traveling with kids. Everyone was so helpful. We stayed in a suite and it was huge! There were some issues with the room, but we were only in town for one night. I would have made sure to address some of the issues if we were there longer. Doors were broken and wouldn't close or lock. The bathtub stopper wasn't working, so we had to use the one bathtub. Complimentary snack and beverage upon arrival. If your room is not ready, they will let you use a temporary pass for all amenities which was great. Highly recommend!

We've been coming to this property in the past and always enjoy it. I had to deal with the non Marriott side but they never responded to my request for a later check out. The house keeping didn't replenish our towels either.

What a horrible experience for this hotel. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We went for a long weekend. They force you to valet car - no regular parking. Valet damaged my car. Put a huge dent in it. When I called after seeing it as gas station two hours away they tried to say for me to come back. They eventually put in claim with adjuster. Adjuster never pulled tapes to see when damage occurred and gave me automatic email saying I left the property before disclosing it to them. All I asked them to do was the right thing. They damaged my car and won’t take responsibility for it. I will make sure that I tell people about my experience and your hotel doesn’t take care of their guests and especially not the cars. Stay away unless you want to pay for damage to your car in addition to your stay.

Overall a nice place. Clean property. Friendly staff. Convenient to just walk out to the beach. Did feel as though we were ‘lower class’ for booking via Expedia. Most establishments let you check in a little early if the room is available, but we were told ‘since you booked with Expedia, we can’t let you in the room till 4pm”. She didn’t state “we don’t have a room ready”. We were allowed to use the facilities (pool/bars/etc) until then but I’m pretty sure they had rooms available as it was afternoon on a weekday and when I booked earlier that day, they had several rooms available. Nothing major, but something to consider when booking this hotel via Expedia.

We waited over an hour for our luggage to be delivered to our room. And after calling to voice our frustration, when it was delivered it was NOT our luggage.
The front desk Manager was not friendly at all and was not knowledgeable about the policies of the hotel.

This is a great spot! We enjoyed hot tub and ocean. Our room was beautiful and very clean. Staff were very friendly. I do wish we had option to valet/self park as there were times we were in and out of the hotel and sometimes we needed to wait for the car to be brought back up to us. Overall, great hotel and stay!
