Stayed here for the entire month of August 2019. Property was excellent in all aspects. From the first communication prior to booking, it was very evident that the owners were very thoughtful and caring. Prior to check in, we were provided will everything we could need. The house is well laid out and very well taken care of, to include weekly landscaping. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay for a month. Pots and pans were upscale and of good quality. Plenty of dishes to serve many people. Linens and towels were upscale. Dish washer and washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Owners were very quick to respond to an issue we had. All I can say is that it was a wonderful experience, house exceeded expectations, and the owners were excellent to work with. Hopefully, I can visit again next summer.

Myself, my husband, and both my parents shared this property for 4 nights in late June, 2019. It's at the edge of a newish subdivision with only horse pasture beyond on the east side, so it was lovely and quiet while still being a short drive away from shopping, restaurants, etc. The house itself is attractive inside and out and was spotlessly clean when we checked in, and the owners made sure we had all needed info well ahead of time. We had no issues with any of the appliances or other amenities, and it was nice to have openers for both garage doors available so that different parts of our party could come and go in their own cars on their own schedule. The kitchen was nicely stocked for preparing everyday meals, too--I'm on a Paleo-like diet which makes eating out problematic, and thus we cooked several times during our stay. Cell signal was a little iffy, at least if your carrier uses AT&T's network, but the in-house wifi was excellent--I streamed a live video feed for an hour one morning with not so much as a hiccup. So the cell signal thing wasn't a big deal (and not the fault of the owners in any case). Everyone also agreed that the beds were extremely comfortable, although I will note that the two twins in the 3rd bedroom are about 4 ft. high with the mattress and box springs put together, and might be hard for very small children (or vertically challenged adults!) to get in and out of easily. My folks did appreciate that the house itself was designed ranch-style, though; they're both in their 70s and don't navigate stairs as easily these days as they once did. So, overall we had a great experience and a lovely stay, and my only suggestions for improvements would be to add a little shelf above the toilet in the second bathroom--it has a pedestal sink and there was almost nowhere to set anything down while brushing your teeth at night, especially when multiple people were sharing the same facilities. I would also have appreciated a small table or desk with a task chair somewhere--there's plenty of space for it in the master bedroom, and it would be nice to have somewhere to just set up and leave a laptop other than the dining table. Those are pretty minor quibbles, though, and we will definitely consider returning to the Velo House the next time the family wants to gather in the Grand Junction area.

We had 7 guys head to Fruita for a mountain biking trip. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. Of course since I had the king suite to myself I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The garage was perfect to store all the bikes in and do repairs. Out back was a nice porch that we did not use due to cool weather but we did fire the grill up one evening and that worked out well. I would rent this house again.

We rented Velo for the month of April, 2019. The home is very comfortable. The neighborhood is pleasant. The home was clean. A lot of attention was put into this home, it is well done. Management was friendly and attentive. We would definitely rent this home again.

We rented two houses for a family reunion. This house was dubbed the quiet house. It was a perfect chill house with ample space for folks to relax on the back patio or the front patio, in the family room, in the dining room, or in a bedroom. The master bedroom and bathroom are so big they feel like a sanctuary away from the rest of the crowd.
