On the ocean, ocean view, ultra clean water, superb diving, great food on the water tables, great staff, restaurant manager perfect, boat diving magnificent. So I could go on but the essence is this place is the best

Captain Don’s is a fantastic place because of the ease of the diving and the amazing house reef. Also, the friendliness of the staff was excellent. We stayed in a garden oasis room and it was perfect for our family of 3. It is accurately listed as a 3.5 star facility. If you need pool cabanas, Egyptian cotton sheets and turndown service you might want to look elsewhere. Is you want a clean room, nice pool, easy diving, friendly staff and a great house reef I highly recommend Captain Don’s.

Bonaire is a divers paradise Capt Dons boat dives are very good. Capt and boat staff were knowlegable and friendly. Its when you get on shore that Capt Dons falls down, rolls over and plays dead. I asked a dock crew worker to drop our tanks/BCs off the pier to us. The imbicile decided on his own to shut the air off before dropping our tanks because he didnt want our second atages to free flow. Ive got 18lbs of negative boyanxy around my waist, waiting for my tank and when the tanks THROWN less than 12" in front of us. Our regularors whipped over and hit us both on our heads. He found that pretty funny DANGER WARNING. THE RESTAURANT.!!! A feeling of malaze is apparant throughout the hotel staff with a few exceprions but none worse than the restaurant. I asked for a bacon and egg omlette and watched as the "chef" was putting raw bacon into the already frying eggs .No where near cooked bacon when the eggs came off the griddle. Although divers are always in and out of the water and boats leave from the dock every other hour or so everyone is always in some level of being wet. The restaraunt features a foam cushion convered in cloth. There are no unpadded seats. Staff will ask you to get off of the pads if you are at all wet and points out where they would like you to pit them. We paid for 2 of us to take 12 dives over seven days. We only used 8 but were going to be charged for an extra day of diving if we didnt return our weights 2 days before our stay was over! NEVER AGAIN!
