10/10 Exceptional

This is an old, historic hotel located in the center of downtown, but without the traffic and noise of bigger cities. Lots of dining options nearby. Greensboro is developing its downtown into a go-to location. The Biltmore is uniquely located to tap into the local scene. Lots of good coffee shops nearby, and breakfast lunch and dinner options closely.

A favorite find in Greensboro!

We LOVED staying at the Biltmore Greensboro! The history and the vintage charm beats any chain hotel. You HAVE to talk with the staff to learn about the history in order to fully appreciate your visit. It was worth the hot water only being lukewarm to experience this lovely hotel.

8/10 Very good

The hotel is within easy walking distance of parks, shops and restaurants. The building has old-fashioned charm - large windows, wood floors and a vintage elevator. The waffle bar was a big hit with my traveling companion.

Loved the daily wine and cheese reception at 7pm in the lobby. And the hotel staff was friendly and made an effort to remember names, important details, etc. It literally felt like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Great experience and located close to restaurants, coffee houses and other shops.
Paula, 2-night trip

Being an historic property, some allowances are to be expected. Loved the continental breakfast - lots of options. Likewise the dining options in the neighborhood. Walking distance to the performing arts center. And the floor squeaked as did the bed springs.

Staff was amazing. Historical element of property was excellent. Minor suggestion to consider carpet upgrade in room. Especially enjoyed the onsite breakfast.
Sandra, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff was great! Shared the story of the hotel’s haunting when I checked in. The property is in a run-down downtown area but that wasn’t an issue for me. Loved the history and vintage character of the property.

Perfect stay!

Beautiful place steeped in history! The pink room was lovely, comfortable, and perfectly cleaned. The 12-foot ceilings and large windows with plantation shutters made it feel spacious, and the bed and linens were some of the best we've seen anywhere. Gregarious and informative hosts made it a perfect stay, not to mention the delicious continental breakfast with best-ever croissants.
