Walk out the front door and cross the street you are at the city walls. A short walk south and see the sunset and get great pictures of the Chateau Frontenac on one side and the Plains of Abraham on the other.

The bathroom light was on a timer and twice the lights turned off while I was in the shower. The bathroom sink was small. The room was large but basic.

Very good location. It would be nicer if the room had a sofa for relaxing. The shared laundry facilities would also be ideal. Still, this hotel is a great value for everyone.

Quebec visit

The location was great. Positive points: 1.Close to main landmarks and walking distance to others attractions and restaurants. 2. Shower with hot water. Negative points: 1.The hotel condition is outdated including the room decor. No elevators so you need to carry your suitcase to your room. I was on the 3floor. 2.WiFi not working well every minute it will go out. 3. Towels and bed linen need improvement. I have to give credit that the location was the best part next to the park planes of Abraham. The hotel is located in a busy street area in front of the hotel crossing the street they are benches were I sat just to wait the people walking up and down the street. I felt safe in the area. Warning Quebec is a walking city bring your walking shoes. The hip on and off bus was fanstatic I took the 2 day pass and made great use of it.

Good Quads and Lungs Required!

Ah, where do I begin? Imagine a thrilling quest where your first challenge is finding parking—any parking—just to drop off your bags. Bonus points if you don't end up in a loading zone. Once you've completed the “Urban Parking Gauntlet,” prepare yourself for Stage 2: the epic stair climb. It’s a long, winding ascent that feels like you're trekking to the summit of Mount Everest—except with more echoes and questionable carpet. Oxygen tank not included. And then, at last, the grand reward: a room so tiny, even your suitcase looks cramped. The photos must’ve been taken with a fisheye lens... in 1997. The decor? Think “charmingly worn,” if charm were optional. Now, to be fair, the location is fantastic. Like, "you-can-stumble-to-everything" fantastic. So if your main goal is to explore and only return to your room to collapse in exhaustion (after your quad workout on the stairs), this place might just be your low-budget Everest base camp.

Very good location

Very good location. I didn't notice it's an hotel without reception desk, so obviously there's no services on site. A garbage bag was left open beside the front door and stayed there for a while... Other than that, our 2 rooms were quite large and clean. Overall I would recommend this place as the price is fair.

에어컨 잘나오고 물 잘나오고 침대도 푹신하니 너무 편하고 좋았어요 옛날건물이라 엘레베이터는 없지만 계단도 운치있고 좋았어요 특히 가격이 가장마음에 들었어요

Albergue charmoso. Quarto confortável. Reservamos 2 quartos. Um deles com vista privilegiada para o parque o o outro quarto sem vista nenhuma.,Deveria ter sido cobrado valor diferenciado. Tentamos atendimento com alguém antes do check out, para uso no depósito de bagagem, mas não nos deram retorno. Tinha um depósito de bagagem em frente a um dos quartis, mas não foi fornecida a senha.

Get check in instructions

We booked on hotels.com but communication was through Expedia. We got no check in instructions and waited over an hour in lobby until I found a Spanish shaking employee who called our contact for us.

Nous avons adorés l’emplacement, la chambre, la propreté du lieu. Le seul bémol, est que l’eau chaude prend beaucoup beaucoup de temps à arriver dans la douche… mais comme il faisait très très chaud lors de notre séjour, une bonne douche froide a fait du bien!

I would strongly advice against prepaying for lodging here, as it leaves you with no recourse if something goes wrong. I was reimbursed $140. Which felt like a token gesture for the poor experimence. I'm sure i could have found a more reputable hotel had i known what I was getting. I was given a dorm room with no person on sight to help with issues. Live and learn.

We loved this property. It was a large room and clean! The refrigerator was nice and the Keurig coffee wonderful! They even provided cream and sugar. The only negative is the parking situation. They did warn there was no parking on the premises but we had to park pretty far away. Otherwise it was a great experience!
