Mukava hotelli, joka kaipaa kipeästi remonttia
Aamiainen oli hyvä kuten aina ennenkin, kuten myös palvelu, ja huoneiden sähkölukot toimivat poikkeuksellisen hyvin. Hotelli on kuitenkin pitkään kaivannut isoa remonttia alkaen kylpyhuoneista sekä ikkunoiden ja parvekeovien uusimisesta. Huoneen 202 bidee-suihkun letku oli 2m pitkä, mutta pitäisi olla 2,5m, jotta sillä voisi suorittaa alapesun, ja suihkuverho kannattaisi korvata lasiseinillä, ja huoneen kalustus oli väärin mitoitettu huoneen pieneen kokoon nähden. Kylpylän miesten suihkuletku oli tyvestä lähes poikki, mutta vielä toimi. Mikäli taso on tämä myös heinäkuussa, kun oopperajuhlien aikaan huoneen hinta nousee yli 200€:n, hinta tulee olemaan törkeä korkea ainakin hotellin vanhan puolen huoneiden kuntoon nähden.

Hotellihuoneen kuvat varausta tehtäessä eivät vastanneet millään tasolla todellisuutta. Huone oli aivan alkuperäisessä kunnossaan, vessan katto täynnä keltaisia roiskeita, katto halkeilee, seinissä tahroja, muovimattolattia… Huoneessa ei ollut myöskään pientä jääkaappia. Lisäksi huoneen oven lukko oli niin löysä, että pelkäsin koko ajan, milloin joku vaan tulee ovesta sisälle. Aamupala oli mitään sanomaton. Lisäksi aamupalapöydässä ollut hunajameloni maistui aivan mullalta. Plussaa sijainnista ja hyvistä parkkeerausmahdollisuuksista. Taisi olla valitettavasti ensimmäinen ja viimeinen reissu täällä.

Tunnelmallinen ja kiva paikka. Sijainti hyvä keskustan ja Saimaan äärellä. Superior huone oli siisti ja parveke järvinäköalalla iso plussa. Palvelu erinomaista. Kylpylässä oli ihana ledivalaistus illalla ja palvelu sielläkin mahtavaa. Aamupala oli runsas ja maistuvaa. Ainut miinus appelsiinimehusta, joka oli aivan liian makeaa. Vahva suositus paikalle. Menemme uudelleenkin.
