This was a great little hotel that had everything and was so kind. The room they had wasn’t ready and moved me to a different room which they claimed didn’t have any outside noises from the street, and they were 100% it was so silent it was enjoyable. The bed was comfy, and the small space was perfect for the room, the bathroom was also a nice, clean space. Their customer service from my one night there was great, lots of choices on the drinks bar. It was a great short stay location

We were pleased with this hotel. Julia on reception was great, she gave us a bottle of cold water while we waited for our room to be cleaned. She was very friendly and informative. The room was small but it had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and clean.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shepherds Bush. It was very clean and staff were extremely nice. The hotel is ideally located adjacent to the tube and across the street from some phenomenal falafel. The first room we were shown was below grade and had only a small window through the ceiling to daylight, which set off a bit of claustrophobia in our party. Staff were understanding and moved us to a main floor room that had a window (not operable, as far as I could tell, but it was enough to ease claustrophobia). Overall a very good stay.

Very good location matching that requirement. Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Although generally clean it was a basic room smelling a bit of damp or poor ventilation. (Room was at back of hotel and while on same ground level as reception seems to be a basement at back.) Shower didn’t drain properly, no plug in sink, no iron or ironing board although rooms should apparently have them. Perhaps I was unfortunate with the room but although a budget hotel still seemed overpriced for what was delivered.

Ok but not great

The room was clean and the ac worked well. The room felt a bit small but this is likely because of the layout. For one or two nights it would be ok but not much longer. The main downside was the smell in the bathroom in the mornings. It was as though there were no traps in the drains allowing all the sewer gases into the room.

Convenient Transportation Location

The hotel is small with no lift, not the best area but it is conveniently located near the underground and above ground transportation. It is located in Zone 2, so transportation is a bit more expensive if you plan to spend a significant time doing a lot of touristy things in Zone 1. It's a diverse area with an assortment of places to eat in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Tiny bedroom , tiny bathroom you had to step over loo to get out of bathroom . Says pet friendly but the rooms are not big enough to take a pet hamster , sound of running water all night , dusty room carpet felt like it needed a hoover , wish I had of stayed at the premier inn would have saved ourselves £200

Average quality but was at a good price for London

Got a great price (£61) and thought it would be hard to be as good as the reviews said at that price for London. It wasn't as good as others have said. The room was a bit smelly (drain smells from the bathroom) and I couldn't get the heating to warm the room up at all. There was no heat source in the bathroom so towels were cold - not even a heated towel rail. The heating/aircon controller didn't look that complicated but I couldn't make it change the room temperature. Mentioned that it hadn't worked on departure and was faced with utter disbelief from the guy on the front desk. Like nothing could ever be wrong. For the price it was an OK room but it could be so much better.
