The Tavistock House Hotel is a little gem within a world heritage listed historic stannary market town. We were warmly greeted by our host and escorted to a lovely decorated and well appointed room. A good choice of local eatery's is available within a short stroll. A tasteful continental breakfast was available to ready us for a day sightseeing in the town and local area. Highly recommended.

Brad was a lovely host, we were in the area for a family funeral and he made our stay stress free and very comfortable. Tavistock town centre is a quick walk along the road where you can buy local produce and gifts etc. locals were lovely and friendly as well. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. All facilities were great.

What a superb place to stay. Everything was just perfect including an amazing breakfast. Parking is so easy at the rear of the hotel and all the local shops and bars are just a 5 minute walk away. The owners are very friendly and make for a top stay 👏

Classy Hotel

Tavistock House Hotel may be small but, so classy. Attention to detail in bed and public rooms, second to none. I especially appreciated fresh milk for my tea, rear car park and it overlooks the tennis courts so is quiet but close to the town centre.

Great stay

Beautiful high-end hotel. Tasteful decor and very clean. Comfortable bed and equipped with beverages, fudge, biscuits, water and fresh milk! Close to town centre where there are plenty of places to eat. Travelling alone on business. Will definitely plan my next trip to the South West around Tavistock so that I can come back!
