That place is lovely and the staff was very nice and friendly. The restaurant and the breakfast is a must try, you can’t be disappointed ;)

The property was in a lovely location with wonderful views. All areas were kept impeccably clean and tidy.Very chilled atmosphere and amazing, friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant served delicious food and is very well priced. Nothing at all to dislike about the Hotel.

La Kumsal is a high quality hotel and clearly a good deal of thought has gone into the accommodation and the service it provides. Its clean, has a luxurious feel and our accomodation (room 310) was excellent. The views from the balcony were outstanding. Highly recommended.

Dream vacation

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was suburb, exceeded my expectations. I was given the room I booked online which was nice. The food was outstanding and survice in the restaurant was exceptional! We enjoyed our time there and hope to come back in the future.

Hotel was so clean and wonderful. Employees were so helpful and kind and made our stay feel so special. The best part was the sunset and the breakfast. We had a perfect view of the sunset and it was breathtaking. I definitly will be coming back!

Impressive views

Nice location at the tip of Çukurbağ Peninsula with excellent views of the sea and off shore islands including Kastellorizo. Rooms are very clean and recently renovated.

Great Views Fail to Hide Cracks

I have to agree with the general consensus about this hotel. The rooms are tired. We had a family room which basically had two rooms. However there was only one A/C unit which meant that it was impossible to use one as the A/C unit could barely cope with cooling one room. The breakfast was okay in that I have had both better and worse; there is at least some variety and usually something warm to eat though some days boast a better spread than others. The views are - as you would expect from the area - stunning. The Wi-Fi is poor and I gave up using it after a few tries. Auxiliary staff by the pool are lovely. We paid for this hotel when we booked it but the hotel tried to charge us on leaving. I showed them on my phone that it had been paid but they did not seem to have a record. The manager told me that it was not his problem. I was a little bewildered by this attitude and by the way they seemed incapable of contacting the relevant agent. The manager is one of the few staff to speak fair English but decided to remove himself after I made the point that it was not our problem and they needed to contact their agent. I would not tell people not to stay here - just be aware that the blurb is misleading and that basic hotel organisation and courtesy is not always in place.

Disappointed

Although the view is fantastic and the staff very friendly, this hotel unfortunately misses the mark. It is in dire need of renovation of the rooms. We felt the images were misleading as to how the condition of the hotel actually was. Lack of maintenance and lack of attention to detail let down this hotel, that with its location at the tip of the peninsula would have great potential.
