I found this place very charming. We’ve stayed at some old Victorians & bed-and-breakfast that seemed possibly haunted and creepy, but this one is well done and feels very clean. We will absolutely stay here again when we go back to cripple Creek.

Fabulous place to stay, away from downtown just enough to enjoy the quiet. Beds were super comfortable. Upon check in they were kind enough to recommend places to eat in town, as I wasn't visiting the casinos, as well as some touristy things to do. They provided maps, Great atmosphere, breakfast was amazing!

The area and hospital itself are beautiful and well maintained. You can feel the history as the staff placed relics of the past along the walls and left much of the building intact. I would recommend this a thousand times over for anyone who enjoys historical America or just a very comfortable stay.

My friends and I had the best lodging experience at this beautifully decorated hotel. The antiques, wallpaper, room themes, etc was simply classy and so well designed/decorated. The hotel was very clean, comfy beds, soft pillows, and had interesting site-seeing (Rita troll by Thomas Dambo, Greman bakery, mining artifacts, etc) nearby. I'm not a gambler but my friends are; that being stated, we all enjoyed ourselves.

It’s an interesting and historic building, and the owners have taken incredible care to fashion a beautiful and comfortable hotel while preserving its history. The owner is a terrific storyteller who was generous with his time, sharing numerous interesting tidbits about the area and the hotel’s days as the county hospital. The rooms have been upgraded to luxury standards, with high-end fixtures and quality craftsmanship. All-in, our stay here was the highlight of our trip. Will be back!

This hotel is super nice - the decor is very unique as it was a former hospital. Lots of antiques and cool items to look at. Each room is unique. The place is exceptionally clean and everything is in top shape. Highly recommend if you are staying in Cripple Creek.
