8/10 Very good

Bathroom was a little tired looking but otherwise all good. Amazing breakfast at Edgbaston Park Hotel

8/10 Very good

Good room at affordable price

10/10 Exceptional

Great location for the UOB

Attending my daughters graduation at the university so an ideal location as just a short walk to campus. Rooms were well equipped with all we needed and clean. Use of facilities at the hotel opposite was a bonus.

8/10 Very good

Be careful when trying to find but great value

Rooms great, price was great, very clean. Only confusing bit is on arrival to where reception is. Ok you get a message telling you but it’s not very useful when driving and following a Sat nav. Should really be in the hotel description. Especially when you arrive and Peter Scott House doesn’t say anything about being a hotel and signage points to the other hotel across the road :-)

Visiting the UoB

Perfect accommodation for a visit to the university. Quiet and comfortable and a good price. Room was good but the bathroom possibly needs a makeover, although I think we had an accessible room.
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Conveniently located for Birmingham Uni. Basic, but good value. 2 minutes walk to Edgbaston Park Hotel, where you check in. Decent bar food and an excellent breakfast at Edgbaston Park.
Louise, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was clean and warm and had everything you need for an overnight stay. The breakfast was lovely. Very good value for money.
Johanne, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Terrible stay

The Bathroom smelt of blocked drains, every time the heating kicked in the pipes rattled and the towel heater sounded like it was going to come off the wall.
karl, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Ok but nothing special

Basic room is what looks like updated student accommodation, all meals are on other hotel restaurant not onsite, it’s only a couple of minutes walk but not fun is the cold/ rain.

Perfect location for activities at the University. A nice room, though Bathroom could benefit from modernising. But all clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again.

confusing check-in

it was a nice clean room but confusing where you go to check in. it was in the hotel across the road which no one told us about but were very helpful and friendly
amanda, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Not as pictures portray, pics for hotel I'm guessing. Clean standard for what it is. TV, aerial has to positioned to get good signal. Hairdryer did not work
Sinead, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Clean room

The lift was out of order which was a bit of a problem as I have just had a knee replacement.
Richard, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Rooms are out dated. Bathroom tiles were chipped. Shower base was old.
Indy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Because one has to sleep

Petite shower. Uncomfortable twin mattress. Please clean vs Do Not Disturb sign not respected. Very good hot/continental breakfast. Bar food overpriced and not nutritionally balanced; for a captive audience without other options around unless ordering delivery.
4-night trip

2/10 Poor

The web never said it was at the university, the toilet flush is not working properly, the music was very loud, and the pissed up teenags screaming and shouting till 12.30 at night would never stay again, I would like a full refund not happy at all with the stay
Leigh, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

I spent 2 nights in this place. The property was clean and neat. However, on the first night, at 1am, there was someone attempted to open my room using a key. Lucky enough, I was awake and I could hold the door handle, but I dare not take a peek of who was outside. The second night, I was barely sleep at all since I could hear some women chatting and giggling on the corridor throughout the night.
Manggala, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I usually stay at the Edgebaston hotel across the road, but due to no vacancies i stayed here for one night. Its clean and easy access to the other hotel, but the bathroom is very out dated with green suite and the shower is such a small cubicle, the bedroom is fine with everything you could need. Would of liked a glass but you just get two cups, not the end of the world and for the price it was ok for one night. Glad it wasnt warm otherwise it would of been hot in this room with just a fan.
Alison, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room, food and location were good. Reception staff were poor. Getting info on parking arrangements was like drawing teeth. Paid for 2 rooms but when my friend went to check in an hour later, he was told he hadn't paid. No apology was given when proof of payment shown later. Paid for 2 breakfasts each when checking in but on arriving at restaurant each morning no record of booking on list and had to show card payments to staff member who was very good. Time to sharpen up your act me thinks.
David, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Ok

It was ok but for £70 I would expect a better quality bathroom. Realised why there are no photos of them on the website. The bathroom was also dirty so I didn’t use it, left as soon as possible the next day. Bed was comfortable but it was quite noisy; you can hear other bathrooms quite loudly in the night. Location is good, but I wouldn’t stay again
