Best views in Wengen

The service was fantastic! I can’t remember the gentleman’s name that worked the evenings but he was amazing. We stayed in room 308 with the panoramic views and it was absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are simple and a little dated but I find almost everywhere in the mountains to be like this. The price of this hotel was lower than many others in the area. This surprised me because the views are some of the best in Wengen. They also offer complimentary breakfast and coffee which helped save money and time in the Swiss Alps. Would absolutely recommend!

Excellent hotel

Good facilities. Pool table games, library, free tea and coffee. Decent breakfast offerings. Very helpful friendly staff. Beautiful view of the mountains. Spotlessly clean. Decor and styling a bit dated but I understand this is fairly normal for this area. Would definitely stay again

Cozy stay in Wengen!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Wengen at Jungfraublick! We took the mountain view room and the view from our balcony was particularly stunning when the clouds cleared in the morning!! Two things to note: the hotel's restaurant is currently closed due to COVID and cars will need to be left in Lauterbrunnen (but access by train is easy).

Great view with enthusiastic staff

Great hotel staff -- incredibly helpful with local activities and truly enjoyed sharing their knowledge and community. Conveniently located, breathtaking view, comfortable rooms. (Alas, due to Covid, food service was limited, but staff was helpful in recommending options.)

A great stay!!

We loved it here. If we return to Wengen we would stay there again! Viktor was absolutely wonderful. He picked us up from the train station to check in and also dropped us off after check out. He was very knowledgeable and helpful for planning our day based on the weather. We accidentally left with our room key and he said not to worry and asked us to leave it in lauterbrunnen with the rail office. A beautiful area of good faith and great people. We couldnt say enough good about Viktor. He made our experience. Our mountain few room was beautiful. Thank you for a great stay!

Great view and very nice staff. Wonderful hotel but the walk up to the hotel is challenging for us older or out of shape patrons. The hotel picked us up and dropped us when we arrived and departed. We stayed 4 nights and buy the time we returned each day it was a real challenge to get up the hill. This was my only complaint.

The name says it all. DO take the upgrade for the room with balcony and you won't repent. Room in itself is very comfortable.Victor, amongst all, was the most helpful. Right from checking in to the time we checked out. We even shopped souvenirs in the town so had additional bags and he arranged for us to be dropped to the train station at no additional cost! His recommendation on the trail walk near the hotel was brilliant. haven't seen such an amazing valley view in all of Switzerland. The breakfast though needs some improvement. Extremely limited options I feel. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and will definitely book here again.

Victor was very friendly and helpful with our check in process. The room has a spectacular view of the mountains. The hotel is not far from the train station.
