We booked a studio room with a bath at Sea Containers London, hoping for a bit of luxury. While the room was spacious, it lacked a view, which was disappointing given the price point. The bathroom was also a good size, but the bath itself felt small and a bit grubby — we didn’t end up using it. From what we gathered, it was an older, unrefurbished room, which explains the slightly tired feel overall.
We also tried to visit the rooftop bar, which we’d enjoyed on previous visits, but there was no space — and surprisingly, no tables were reserved for hotel guests. The bars here are stylish and worth visiting, but be prepared for steep prices.
The location is a bit awkward unless you're specifically looking to be in that part of the city. With no view from the room, it didn't quite feel worth the extra cost. That said, we did have two solid nights of sleep, and the room was comfortable enough — just not quite the premium experience we expected for the price.
