Holiday Inn Express & Suites Thunder Bay, an IHG Hotel

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the no contact checkin.

The lady who was serving the breakfast, she was awesome. What a service.

Was greeted by amazing, friendly staff...I was tired from a long road trip - being welcomed in this way was super. Loved my room and bed...and breakfast wasn't bad (though the breakfast lady could have been friendlier to the person of colour ahead of me...she was a bit mean to him and impatient because he had trouble with English. That wasn't cool...).

Well suited to main roads and a restaurant is on the same property

The room was very clean and comfortable but the armchair seat cushion was covered in vinyl. I know this is easier to clean but it isnt very comfortable....its slippery and doesnt breathe so it makes your legs sweat!!

This is a really nice hotel. The room was very clean and the front desk staff were friendly and provided great recommendations for nearby restaurants.

I didn’t like my truck getting broken into and rampaged for dollies and a jacket gone missing

Could not use debit card to pay a deposit upon check in. Unlike every other hotel on our cross country trip. The pull out couch mattress cover was completely filthy. I removed it and called for a new one. Before putting it on I noticed just how disgusting the mattress actually was and ended up with with kids sleeping together in the regular bed. I was the heebie jeebies the rest of the night.

For this quick trip, our room was great! First time in a long time where my husband and myself slept good at a hotel as the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were medium and firm and were not paper thin. Location was convenient and close to everything.
