Spacious rooms Fun Clean Friendly Funky! Great breakfast

I came to Hamburg to see a show/concert at Die Fabrik and decided to stay here because it was reasonably close to the venue. The bottom line is that the hotel is a cool, quirky spot that provides a clean and quiet room for travelers where everything, e.g. wireless, works as it should. Located conveniently on a bus line, but not close to a subway/train, the building looks as if it was originally a generic space that the staff creatively turned into a funky design for the hotel. It is in a decent neighborhood (just down from a police station), about a 7-10 minute walk to shops, stores and cafes. Most important, the hotel is characterized by a very hospitable staff. Felix, in particular, was a very nice/helpful guy. I did not have the breakfast, but saw that it looked good. I also noticed that they have drinks and snacks for sale that you can bring to your room. Not a luxury destination meant to pamper you, this is a reasonably priced place that delivers on comfort and cleanliness and does it in a fun way to make your stay pleasant. I would recommend it to anyone going to Hamburg who does not mind being reasonably outside the major destination areas and prioritizes those attributes.

We really enjoyed our hotel: it was clean, safe, comfortable and fun! We loved the decor & think it has real personality. Your online booking posed a problem though since we inadvertently had TWO reservations. The folks at the hotel were very kind & gracefully didn’t charge us TWICE but we hated to cause them any loss.

Es war - wie immer - prima!

L’accueil est froid. Les chambres manquent de confort (pas de table, ni de verre, de chaise, de climatisation). Le ménage n’a été réalisé que tous les deux jours. Les lits sont bas. Notre chambre était bruyante : elle donnait sur la rue et, faute de climatisation en pleine canicule, nous devions dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Les clés électroniques de notre chambre ont été désactivées avant l’heure limite de départ. L’ascenseur n’est pas rassurante (lenteur et bruits). Seul point positif : l’hôtel est plutôt bien situé à 2 stations de haupbahnof. Nous ne le conseillons pas c’est sûr.
