SUNRISE Montemare Resort -Grand Select-

A very mixed bag. Property is nice, rooms are not amazing, but ok, the food was average at best. The biggest problem was the staff. Half were very friendly and customer focused. The other half were plain rude and discourteous. Just nine example. The bar tender in the lobby bar was obviously extremely sick, but was working anyways. He was rude, slamming doors and dishes and just an all around a-hole. The place is also only at 1/4 capacity, but they cat like it’s a fully booked exclusive resort. I’ll pass next time.

My overall scoring of this property is low. The rooms are new but the finishing feels a little bit old, where the door for the bathroom does not close properly, water in the shower is weak and the furniture is old wood, but they do have a nice bed. My worst experience is with the staff, each service provided (from getting a towel to a drink) is given with expectation of receiving tips, which gets burdensome quickly. Furthermore, the food was horrible, either in the buffet or from room service (where i got food poisoning!). I expected more from the SUNRISE brand and they definitely did not deliver. If you are still going to try this hotel, note that it is more suited as a couple's hotel. Final thing, a big shout out to the whole animation team, who were more than awesome in making our trip fun!

Overall the hotel is good, but the food is not fresh (specially the pastries) and the taste of food is not so good. The staff are fine but they need to be more smiling and welcoming.

Amazing hotel with beautiful beach and corals. Stuff are so professional and sweet :)

Great hotel!

Best hotel ever, specifically the animation team they were great one of them is mena she made my stay more better. Thank you for all the staff. One more thing if you are single don't come to this hotel

Well maintained large property, even when fully booked didn't feel crowded. Friendly staff. Large pools and beach/ dick on property

It was one of my best trip ever the hotel was clean the service was great the place was really clean everything was clean and fresh
